Change in timetable

Hello,

I have been in charge of the university's timetabling and schedulling. I use Fet offcourse. However, I havce realized that whenever i generate the timetable, it changes the entire timetable.


Is there a way i can generate new timetable where only the changes i made are affected.

I really need help.

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

Either generate on the locked file_data_and_timetable.fet from fet-results, or lock all the activities and save as a fet file and generate on it.

It takes time to generate when its locked. Can you help with a screenshot?

I don't know what screenshot I could send.

If the timetable is locked, it usually generates in a second. If it is locked but impossible because of a moved activity, it won't solve. You can also deactivate all the time and space constraints which are not basic compulsory constraints and not locking constraints (which are activity preferred starting time and activity preferred room).
