generate report by course

hi,

i'm just wondering if FET can generate report by course.

For example, Subject A, Subject B, Subject C, Subject D, Subject E, Subject F, Subject G, Subject H and Subject I is in Year 1. But Subject A to Subject E is in Information Technology Diploma courses and Subject F to Subject I is in Bussiness Diploma courses.

Can I group Subject A to Subject E to Information Technology Diploma courses and Subject F to Subject I to Bussiness Diploma courses?

I know that the program can generate by YEAR which it generate ALL the subject in YEAR but I want more detail and control to group the subject to any courses?

Any idea?

Yes.... you are right....

I think I have to change the YEARS to CLASSES like Diploma In Information Technology (DIT), Diploma in Bussiness (DIB) etc to get the result that I  want....

Then in DIT, i just add all the subject although the subject came from 1st semester, 3rd semester and 5th semester.

I don't know... I just have to try.......

I am not sure about the method you need, but please experiment and let me know if you succeed.

I've solved it.... yay  

What  I did was to make Diploma Information Technology (DIT) in Year... Instead of making 1 in Year. Then in group, I make another DIT 1 (DIT in semester 1) DIT 2, etc..... When I generated it... It shows the course that I wanted.. That is DIT 1, DIT 2 etc... yeyyyyy hehe...

Why I want it to generate by course?? Well, for example I generated view for DIT 1. It shows that there is no duplication in the time table. That is good because now I know that students in DIT in semester 1 don't have any subjects that clashed with other subjects that they taken in the same semester.... What a BRILLIANT program.. hehe

Liviu Lalescu, the file that I gave it to you is the WRONG implementation of it.... hehe... I'm still doing the new one... I hope that it will goes very well with "teacher(s) max hours continuously".. hehe.. ganbatee nehhh
