Hi,

Is it possible to make an activity where the teacher and studentsset are the same, but there are multiple subject?

For example,

Teacher A gives Class B Subjects Math and English

Thank You!

It's depending on what you exactly mean.

Variant 1: You talk about activities that are not at the same time
a) just add several activities
or
b) add one larger activity and modify the subactivities

variant 2: You talk about activities that are at the same time
a) just enter a "new" subject. Maybe all it "core" or "M&E".

Thank you for the reply!

What I mean is that for example, when you add a new activity, you can multi select teachers. Is that in some way also possible for subjects?

The reason for this is that some of the activities needs two or three subjects in the same time.

sadly less "yes" and more "no".

"no", you can't select multiple subjects. I fear also most schools won't be able to use that feature useful, since in fact in most cases it is only useful if you can select multiple roomS; but that is also not implemented yet.

"yes", because you can do:
1. A new subject same that included all subjects you want to have. (but of course that mean you might need to care about some subject constraints again.
2. You must divide your year into categories, by that you can place several activities at the same time with different subjects.

Is it planned to offer the ability to select multiple rooms per activity? That would save a lot of time with dummy activities, but I imagine the placement algorithm would have to be significantly modified.

I am sorry, but indeed this would change many many things and it is very complicated. It is not planned in my work for the near future.

hello !
thank you for this awsome program .
i have the same situation ; i need a trick  about it  please :
one teacher ; same students ; two different subjects . i need to seperate the subjects at least one in the morning , the other afternoon ie one teacher for both math and science for example ; they mustn't be consecutive .
i used min days then min gaps options which made generating a table impossible
please i need a trick or a tip
thank you

Volker Dirr

ahh... Maybe i misunderstood. But since your activities must not be at the same time you only need to add 2 normal activities.

so you only need to add 2 activities.

maybe have a look here:

you can see that teacher "Agnes" also is only one teacher; teaching 2 different subjects in the same class.
caring about morning and afternoon will be done with a preferred time constraint later.
