Hi Folks

I have a timetable with grades 11A and 12A.

On the Grade 11A timetable the learners have a choice between the subjects Cat and Geography.
The timetable for 11A works well.

With the 12A timetable the choices are between Physics and Bus Stud, between Cat and Geo and lastly between
History and LS.

And here is the problem. Some of these choice subjects do not appear on my timetable.
There is always 16 lessons/periods missing on the timetable.

Can someone help, please?

I have taken the liberty to include the subjects.

I am attaching what I think you need. See year 12A' - the subgroups and groups. You need to divide automatically by 3 categories.

I did not check your activities - if I am wrong please ask again.

Thank you for your prompt response.

I tried my utmost to understand what you were doing but I could not master it.

Please explain the THREE categories and please show me  the activities [for which sub groups] that
should be created. Note Physics/Bus Stud 8 activities, Cat/Geo 8 activities as well as History/LS 8 activities.

I really want to understand how to do this.
I have tried on my own and even looked at other examples, to no avail.

I had my activities incorrectly!

The Timetable does what it is supposed to now!
No spaces, etc.

I am edging closer and closer to mastering it!
Just the proper understanding of the  categories remain!

If I have it correctly:
Category 1: A (12A)
Category 2: the 6 subjects [Cat, Geo, Physics, Bus Stud, LS, His]
Category 3: ?

1) Years dialog, select 12A, divide automatically by selecting categories. Select 3 categories, the divisions in the first category are Physics and Bus Stud, the divisions in the second category are Cat and Geo, and the divisions in the third category are History and LS.

2) Add activities for the groups (not subgroups). If you want them simultaneously, add a constraint activities same starting time.
