FET To Excel By Roberto Trevisan - Issue Exporting

Hi guys,
I am forced to send out the timetables to the faculty in Excel format and so this tool is very useful to me because otherwise I have to copy all the timetable variants manually. However, when I open the exported .xlsx file on Excel, I get the following message "We found a problem with some content in FileName.xlsx. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, Click Yes" Upon Clicking "Yes" I get the following message "The workbook cannot be opened or repaired by Microsoft Excel because it is corrupt". Does anyone know what might be causing this issue? I am using Excel 2013 on Windows 10.

I don't know what the problem is. I had problems when importing the FET generated html files into Excel or LibreOffice Calc. The filters didn't interpret correctly the structure of the html files, and the result was really dissapointing. There is another post (by dimzev) which implies that LibreOffice Calc imports and interprets correctly the FET generated html files. Maybe dimzev uses a newer version of LibreeOffice Calc.
A solution that worked for me:
I imported the html files into Gnumeric. Gnumeric is an open source spreadsheet application. This application interpreted correctly the structure of the html files. Then I saved the spreadsheet either as an xls or an ods file and opened the file for further editing either with Excel (xls format) or LibreOffice calc (ods or xls format).
Try this solution. It might work!
