Shutown - sleep  - save and locking  or  other option After end Generate

note:
You must make sure the hibernate property is disabled before generate table - because it blocked generating tables after 3 hours by Default

Thank you for suggested. It is already in the TODO (I requested that feature myself already many years ago).

But also don't forget small disadvantage, that (if you have difficult timetables) and/or if you have done a bug, then it is sometimes nice to have some more solutions.

I remember some years ago my boss didn't told me that a teach must have a few not available times. Luckily I got 10 solutions from the night and we found a solution without generating again. Saved me a lot of work, since it was a difficult timetable.

Hello

I don't think the developers want to change the behaviour of the windows. It may be OS dependent.

See @Liviu Lalescu 's answer here:

True. It might have also a big disadvantage:
Example: You was working with an other software and forgot so save. If FET shout down, then the user can't see the question if the file should be saved or not. You you might loose data in worst case (or the computer stay on in best case).

The other variant is to only go down to suspend to RAM or suspend to disk.
Well, deepening on your CPU you won't save very much energy by that.

You should at least turn of the screen if you leave the computer working alone (or at least set it to sleep after some time). That will already such a lot of energy.

اعتقد أن الأخ Volker Dirr و Liviu Lalescu وجدا الكثير من الحلول أتظر أين كان البرنامج و أين أصبح . فالحلول موجودة و لو بعد حين

Volker Dirr

Thank you so much. I must sleep now. Good night.

Liviu Lalescu

GUEFFAZ, I will add your suggestion in the TODO. But can't you run a command to shut down the system using the feature of execute a command after finishing the timetable?

Volker Dirr

True. From the GUI it is probably difficult for him, but from the terminal with fet-cl it should be much easier.
