Hello! I'm new here!

I already set up succesfully a weekly schedule with FET: teachers and activities are correctly translated into a timetable. Classes are set up too.

BUT

My school has a yearly planning for teachers.
Let me explain:
I teach Hydraulic for 100 hours during 34 weeks
A colleagueB teaches Math for 20 hours (in 34 weeks)
A colleagueC teaches Safety for 10 hours (in 34 weeks)
Another Lab for 300 hours.

Is there a way to setup a yearly planning instead a weekly one?
I could plan 2 hours a week (it would not be perfect, but could work), but colleagueC needs 1 hour each 3 weeks..

Thank you!

Hello, TeOoh, and welcome to the forum! :) I am Liviu.

Maybe you could use the Terms mode. It has a number of terms and a number of days per term. It has a Help section, and also you have some example fet files. Maybe you could make the number of terms = 34 and the days per term = 5 (or 6?).

There are 4 additional special constraints referring to activities for this mode.

Note that the timetable for each week will be different.

That worked!

I could create a 170-day-planning with a mix of Activities!
I need a few lessons with 2 hours, another group of 3... it "costed" only a bit of basic math to arrange everything.

thank you!

As soon as my school approve the use of FET, I promise to make a donation!

I am glad it works, and thank you for your kind thoughts!
