Hallo Zusammen / Herr Dirr,

leider kann ich die Sprache nicht ändern, das Programm sucht in Verzeichnissen, die nicht vorhanden sind.
FET searched for translation file fet_de.qm in directories /Users/username/opt/fet.app/Contents/MacOS and /Users/username/opt/fet.app/Contents/MacOS/translations (and /usr/share/fet/translations under UNIX like systems), but could not find it.

Joachim

P.S.: Ich bin von FET schon jetzt sehr beeindruckt. Gratulation

Hallo, Herr Joachim,

I do not speak German, but maybe you will translate my reply with Google translator. Or maybe Volker will translate my words.

Under MacOS, the fet executable is an application containing other directories. You should copy fet-5.13.4/translations to the directory fet.app/Contents/MacOS. Maybe fet.app is a kind of archive.

I do not have a MacOS to check.

Also, try to read REAME file, search for "Mac OS X" sections (search with Ctrl+Find in a text editor in README).

Please try to answer me as soon as possible if you solved your problem and if you have advice for other Mac OS X users, and I will add it in the README file. I am a bit in a hurry, I would like to release a new version soon and want to make sure there are no problems.

Dear Mr. Lalescu,
thank you for your quick reply.

The file extension ".app" is exclusive for applications, so the programm finder interpret a directory with the extension ".app" as an application.

It is not possible to copy the file fet_de.qm in the directory fet.app with the finder programm.

This is only possible with the command line in X11 xterm.

So now it works.
Thanks for your advice

Congratulation for your outstanding application
best regards
joachim
