SSL for lalescu.ro (and FET homepage)

I am thinking of adding SSL to the FET homepage. Could you tell me if that is necessary and help me with advice?

I think SSL is needed for the forum?

why SSL or TLS (Transport Layer Security ) ? it is for the secure transaction of data ( https) , it is mainly for banks and purchases and sales on the net! I think it's useless for fet forum.

not useless, because you login with a password. if someone got the password he can do bad stuff in the forum. in worst case a user use the same password for email and fet-forum. so the attacker also have got your email password. in most worst case the user use that password and email for shops like amazon. then the attacker have that.
