lock certain teachers and generate

I am extremely happy with the FET software. i am using it for the last three years. When I generate the time table I get a new time table. Is there any possibility of locking some of the teachers table and when we generate the table second time

After you have generated the timetable (or after loading the generated timetable with time and space from the results directory and regenerate the data (it just take a second)):

a) if you want to have many locked teachers:
go to timetable -> view (teachers) and unlock the teachers.

b) if you want to lock only a few teachers:
go to timetable -> advanced lock/unlock -> unlock all
go to timetable -> view (teachers) and lock the teachers


after you have done a) or b) you need to (modify your constraints like you want and) generate again.

but be careful with it. i recommend think twice before doing that. i recommend to use teachers not available times to keep the current free slots instead of locking the activities, because that is in most cases all you and the teacher need. by that you can get much better tables.

You forgot to say that to lock/unlock fast a teacher in view teacher timetable the user can click in the upper-left corner of the table so that the whole table is selected.
