Different hour blocks for the same school

Hello, thanks in advance for your hard work on this great software!!!
I am facing this scenario :

The school where i am working has this 4 different schedule blocks :

1) 1-2-BREAK-3-4-BREAK-5-6-LUNCH BREAK - 7
2) 1-2-BREAK-3-4-BREAK-5-6-7-LUNCH BREAK - 8
3) 1-2-BREAK-3-4-BREAK-5-6-7-LUNCH BREAK - 8-9
4) 1-2-3-BREAK-4-5-BREAK-6-7-LUNCH BREAK - 8-9

I'm doing it into one file with blocks of 15 minutes each one (some teachers have activities on multiple schedule blocks)
I can't use BREAKS because of the different student sets schedules

Is there a way to group two activities (A and B), then goes A -> Break/Unavailable Students -> B ?

I am not sure I understand, but do you mean constraint two activities grouped or constraint two activities consecutive?

I apologise for the miss explaining, when I started this thread I had one idea to ask my question, then i changed it while i was writing and finally wasn't too clear.

Basically, we need to split an activity over a lunch break but the constrains "two activities are grouped" and "two activities are consecutive" doesn't work when you set each year "unavailable time".

The school have four different groups of periods per day. That's because we can't use a "BREAK" to define the not available time for certain year (not all the school).

So, FET allows to split an activity over a break for an specific year?

Hmm, indeed, you can only split an activity over "breaks", not over "not available".

Maybe a customization would work.

Hello again,

we have students sets with this hour structure :

HOUR-1
HOUR-2
NOTAVAILABLE
HOUR-3
HOUR-4
NOTAVAILABLE
HOUR-5
HOUR-6
HOUR-7
NOTAVAILABLE
HOUR-8

As I understand, not available slots are not counted as gaps, so to FET the hour structure should appear as continued slots from 1 to 8, but It can't place 4 activities of duration 2.

There's any way to deal this situation ?

It is impossible with the official FET. Maybe with a custom version it might be possible.

Why can't you add 4 activities with durations 2, 2, 3, and 1?

the solution to our problem was in take a different approach.

1)First of all, considering that there was only 15 minutes of difference into one group of hours to another, we just take an ID for the hour, not the real hour number (i.E. : "H1" , no "08:00 - 08:45".
2) No matter the number of the block hour, a teacher can't  do an activity at the same number Block of differents group of hours.
3) Remove all the breaks, no matter if it is into one Group OR another, so our group of hour goes from this :

G1 : H1-H2-BREAK-H3-H4-BREAK-H5-H6-H7-BREAK-H8
G2 : H1-H2-H3-BREAK-H4-BREAK-H5-H6-H7-BREAK-H8

To this :

G1 : H1-H2-H3-H4-H5-H6-H7-H8
G2 : H1-H2-H3-H4-H5-H6-H7-H8

So, whit this hour structure the schedule can be done, avoiding any problem with teachers
