Hi guys, I am working with FET and its really fantastic, much thanks to its producer(s).
some of its abilities are ambiguous for me, could you explain what below sections will do or address me any doc to read?

1- A/All teacher(s) works in an hourly intervals max days per week
2- A/All students set works in an hourly intervals max days per week
3- A/All students set begins early (Max beginning ...)
4- A set of activities occupies max time slots from selection
5- Max simultaneous activities from a set in selected time slot

And I have another question, I want to detect witch subject preferred room without any tag, how can I do it?

Thank you very much

You can look in the link above. You will find very useful documentation. You can also read help on each constraint directly in FET.
      I wish you good reading.

Thank you bro, I am reading them and I will ask any question I arrive.

Do you know how can I detect witch subject preferred room without any tag?

Thanks

Peter Johnson

Also I could not find good enough matter in mentioned link about below matters:

1- A/All teacher(s) works in an hourly intervals max days per week
2- A/All students set works in an hourly intervals max days per week
3- A set of activities occupies max time slots from selection
4- Max simultaneous activities from a set in selected time slot

Could you let me know their operations?

Liviu Lalescu

1. and 2. : you specify the interval. In this interval, the teacher/students set can have activities at most n days per week.
3. and 4. : these have a Help button in their dialog. Please read that and come back here if it is still unclear.

Peter Johnson

Thank you Liviu so much, do you have any suggestion about this?

Do you mean rooms which can end in no room? See the Statistics -> Activities rooms statistics.

Peter Johnson

I mean, I want to detect some subject preferred room constraints without any activity tag; How can I do it?

Liviu Lalescu

I am sorry, but I do not understand. I hope other users will answer.

In attached picture, I need to detect subject preferred room without any tag (ACTIVITY TAG IS NOT IMPORTANT), can I do it?

Another Question: I want to chose "not available time for teachers" such that each time has own percent (for example, professor p1 is not available in Saturday 8:00 with 100% and is not available in Saturday 10:00 with 50%), how can I do this? is there any trick to do it? can I change code such that support these requirements of mine?

You must sadly delete it and add a new constraint with subject only.

Add teacher T not available Saturday 8:00 100% and constraint activities preferred time slots for teacher T with X on Saturday 10:00 50%.

About another question:
I highly suggest to use only 100% weight. i am to lazy to explain the reasons again. please check the manual and this forum. overall you will save a lot of time and understand your dataset much better if you use 100% weight only.

you can use
fet -> data -> timeconstraints -> activity preffered starting time
if you want to use less than 100% in your request.

It shows a "Invalid Selected Activity Tag" (FET Information dialog) message. :(

Volker Dirr

I wasn't talking about deleting the activity tag. I was talking about deleting the whole contraint.
Add an other contraint. FET -> Data -> space constraint -> Subjects
