Different timetable options

Hi there,

My doubt is as follows.
Once I close the program and go back in. How can I check the generated timetable? It tells me "Please generate firstly"

Another question is when I generate a timetable, can I have access to more than one timetable? Can I see different options and choose the more appropiate one?

Hello,

1) Unfortunately, FET does not retain the generated timetable. To remember it you can lock all the activities, or you can generate on an identical file using the same random seed (but it will take the same time as you generated the first time).

2) When you generate more timetables, only the last one is retained in the interface, but the other ones are saved as HTML and locked timetables, so you can see them and load the locked file (also each random seed is saved).

They are saved in the fet-results folder.
You only need to open the fet file in the fet-results folder and "generate" again. Don't worry, generating need only 1 or 2 seconds and will bring you exact the same result.

Yes, in ~/fet-results or C:\Users\user\fet-results (FET will tell you after you generate, in a message). Open the file filename_data_and_timetable.fet. Or you can see the HTML files there with a browser.
