1) Could you give me an example? I understand only Latin characters, please. And you can show me a .fet file or a graphic.

2) Maybe the best would be to add two tags, "Morning" and "Afternoon", only two constraints, one for each one, and modify subactivities to add these tags to each subactivity.

We've for instance English, a core subject for certain students' groups (those majoring in literature &  foreign lges). During their 1st year, those groups study English 4 hrs/week. During their 2nd year, they study it 5 hrs/week & during their 3rd year, they study it 4 hrs/week. My question is how can I select "simultaneously" (not separately) all the students' groups from level 1, 2 & 3 who have English as a core subject & specify that 2/3 of the weekly sessions for the selected groups are to be taught in the morning for instance & the rest is to be taught in the afternoon? I could do this using another software, but the problem was that it couldn't be done using ratios (like 1/3, 2/3, etc.) but rather nbr of sessions, which renders it a bit time-consuming, but still much less than FET. Unlike FET, that software is a paid one & itsn't an open source one. That's why I thought of suggesting such an improvement here so we can all benefit from it.

Thank you!

I think you could add like this: morning components 1, 2, and 3 of English (3 constraints) and afternoon components 4 and 5 of English (2 constraints). Is that OK? (Components 5 constraints for years 1 and 3 will be ignored.)

Or if say English and French and the others are identical for all students, add a tag "Core" for them and add the constraints only for Core and for each students year.

Thank you! I'll try to apply what you've suggested & see if it works.
