Salve a tutti...ho scoperto da pochi giorni questo software e sinceri complimenti a chi lo ha implementato.....avrei una sola domanda...esempio Prof di Matematica che fa 6 ore in una classe con settimana che va dal lunedi al venerdi...Se io metto DIVIDI su 5 giorni mettendo magari un giorno da 2  ore e 4 da un'ora..Quel Dividi significa che divide massimo su 5 giorni o solo su 5 giorni??? in poche parole a me non interessa che divida realmente tra 5 giorni ..ma mi interessa solo che spalmi le 6 ore come meglio crede...3 giorni da due ore l'uno o 2  giorni da due ore e due giorni da un'ora...come procedere?? grazie a chi potrà essermi di aiuto

I think you can do as I did, see attached (input file k.fet and screenshot). This way FET will leave the activities divided as possible, but never more than 2 hours on the same day. FET will not put 3 subactivities on the same day if "Consecutive if same day" is selected. Click "Yes" to the warning. (I divided into 1+1+1+1+1+1, 0%.)

If you prefer more spread, like 2+1+1+1+1, let me know and I'll tell you how.

first of all thanks and many congratulations ... for me is not important that 6 hours are divide into 5 days;
the important thing is that at least one activity lasts two hours... example 2+2+2 (three days)  or 2+1+1+1+1 (five days) or 2+2+1+1 (four days).

No problem! See "All time constraints" dialog. I added a constraint "Two activities consecutive" and two constraints "Subactivities preferred time slots". These three constraints are connected (the involve the first two subactivities of id1..id6).

sorry Liviu...your file k2.fet was created with 6.0.5 version (official last version is 6.0.4). I don't know if these functions are new . If not can you tell me where i need to click after that i opened the file to see these constraints please??

ok..i understand now...if i want to repeat this settings for all math teacher for example, i need to set these for each one?? or is there a short way to repeat for all?

Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to adding such data. Maybe by creating a script/program to write directly the .fet file, but it is not very easy.

There are possible other variants for what you need, but I think they are more complicated. I attach to this post another possibility of doing this - you need to add more activity tags and enable the constraints Teachers/students activity tag max hours daily from Settings.

I think as in the attached file (k4.fet, a slight modification of the previous file) the efficiency might be better than with my first suggested approach. If there are less activities and fewer constraints it is better. Also, it might be easier to input the data.
