Hi! I wondered if it would be possible to create a timetable pulling information from a Support Staff list including many part-time workers to support students of varying levels of need in classes. We are in Australia and the levels of need are Extensive, Substantial, Supplementary and QDTP (Quality Differentiated Teaching Practice). The students designated Extensive and Substantial receive more lessons of support per week than other levels but this is not a fixed number. We focus on English/Maths as much as possible. We need to match staff and students and also track their lessons of support per week in order to secure support funding for them. Currently we manually do the task on paper and it changes weekly, which is super painful. Also, our least needy kids are receiving no support as we constantly change the support to meet reactive need. Can you help us? Many thanks!

Hello!

In the FET Block planning mode, you allocate activities (student, subject) to FET days (teachers) and FET hours (real life time slots). Maybe using such an approach or a similar one would work.

You might want to show us/me an example of past timetable.

Hi Liviu, thanks so much for such a prompt reply. I've mocked up a potential timetable - data that we need to input and track is on the right hand side, and what it could look like for an individual staff member on the left. I might need to email it to you?

Hello,

I have received your email, thank you! I need a bit more time to deal with it; I will answer by email regarding private matters and here regarding things which might also interest other users.
