Hi there,
I'm messing with FET but I'm stuck at a very basic level.
I want to set this hourly schedule for my daily lessons:
08:30-10:00
10:15-11:45
12:00-13:30
14:00-15:30
15:45-17:15
17:30-19:00
In FET I was able to set only the starting hour (eg 08:30) but not the duration.
What I'm a missing?
Thanks to anyone helping.

In FET, you can have only the same duration for all hours, and duration 1 hour. Maybe you can try to give the name of only the start hour and work like that.

15:45-17:15
17:30-19:00

That is good, because each period has duration 1 h and 30 min. So each period has the same duration.

so you can add this names into FET->DATA->Days and Hours.

So "Hour 1" is "08:30-10:00"
and so on.
The word "Hour" is maybe not the best, FET mean "period".

if you add an activity that should take 1 hour and 30 minutes, then you just add an activity with duration 1.
duration 1 doesn't mean 1 hour, it mean 1 period. (And you periods are 1h and 30 min.)

hila

in our school most periods are one hour each. but the beginning of the day has two periods of half hours (8:00-8:30, 8:30-9:00) for social activities. Yet, sometimes we do assign one hour class at that time-segment. how can I tell FET that these two half hour periods can be combined to one hour class?

Maybe you could define a FET hour=1 real half hour. So you have double FET hours per day than real hours. Then, each activity has duration 2 FET hours and preferred starting times for all activities with duration 2 is allowed on odd FET hours, and starting times for activities with duration 1 (one real half hour) is on first 2 FET hours.

My solution may be too complicated for what you need and others may have better solutions.
