one teacher but occupied two room at the same time

Have another question though...

My teacher wanna have a computer class. Becoz there are so many student in his class, he need to used two separate computer room at a SAME time...(computer room 1 just  beside computer room 2 and they are separated computer room. Not one big room where u can have two classes at the same time. OR is it the same??). He teach both of the class at the same time. I don't now how he managed to do that but this is his request... Is it possible??

If you have a big room, you need to add 2 (or 3) rooms representing this large room and add constraint activity preferred rooms with these rooms.

If you want an activity in 2 rooms, add your activity (A1) and a dummy activity (A2 with no teachers and no students). Preferred room of A1 is R1 and of A2 is R2. Add now constraint activities same starting time for A1 and A2. I think that solves all problems, please let me know if I am right.

The only problem with this approach is that in the students'/teacher's timetable you will see only room R1 for activity A1. But room R2 will be free at that time (of course, duration of A2 is the same as duration of A1)

yes. I notice that.... To get a better view, just look into generated report for room... You can see clearly that both activities start on the same day and time... hehe.. tq

One more thing....I've notice that If you generated new time table.... some results had soft conflicts in it. Maybe after couple of times regenerate the time table.... FINALLY it shows 0 soft conflicts.... It means that FET can make no soft conflicts if u try many times... I'm just wondering, but why don't FET shows only the result for 0 soft conflicts. Maybe FET can optionally shows result that have some soft conflicts in it... Any suggestions??
