Hi
I have a grouping problem. Year 7 splits into A, B and C. All 7A do German, 7B and 7C mix up to do German/French/Chinese. I wanted to do groups A/B/C then another A/French/German/Chinese but I can't reuse A. Does that make sense? Any suggestions.
Thanks

I think this:

Divide year 7 automatically by two categories. Category 1: A, B, C. Category 2: Ge, Fr, Ch. Then you should remove the subgroups 7 A Fr and 7 A Ch (You obtain more allowed timetables, and might speed up the generation, I am not sure how much). And then optionally you can add in year 7 three groups: BC Ge, BC Fr, and BC Ch (for instance in group BC Ge add subgroups 7 B Ge and 7 C Ge), or use for activities directly subgroups.

Thank you. I will go for the first option, I haven't removed a subgroup before I will look it up in the manual.
thanks again
