Checking for updates on startup

In case you are wondering, for 2 days now automatic check for updates on FET startup does not work anymore. It might be a web hosting problem - I contacted them and they are trying to solve the problem. Or it might be a Qt or FET problem - I will try to check this.

This appeared after my web host updated their hardware.

The problem is fixed in the latest FET 5.37.4 release today (Friday, 21 December 2018). It seems a Qt or FET problem, I found the fix on the internet.
