On Sunday, 17 November 2024, FET-6.28.1 was released. From the ChangeLog:

  - Interface bug fixed: the combo boxes could be too large in the constraints' dialogs (reported by uni_instructor).
  - Improved the dialogs for adding/modifying the constraints of type two activities ordered, two activities ordered if same day, two activities consecutive, two activities grouped, and three activities grouped (suggested by uni_instructor).
  - Improved the instructions/help for some constraints (suggested by uni_instructor).

I apologize for releasing so soon after the previous release, but I wanted to fix this bug.

This release is dedicated to uni_instructor. Thank you!

FET-6.28.1 for macOS is now available. (Sorry for the wait, I missed the notifications for the last two releases!)

Thank you, Darren, no problem! Did you notice 3-4 times faster compile time? How much did it take now?

Darren McDonald

Much faster! I was doing other things at the same time (so it's probably even a more significant improvement), but it's cut the compile time by around 50%, I think). Unfortunately it looks like there might be some macOS interface issues—I'll send you an email shortly.

Liviu Lalescu

Thank you! It's false alarm.

Compilation time: On my GNU/Linux, instead of 13m (I think) I get 3m 20s, and on Windows instead of 16m I get 4m 30s. You should notice a 3-4 times faster compilation time on macOS.
