Hello everyone! I am a teacher who is trying to help our school become more efficient at creating school schedules. We currently have a situation in which I am finding it difficult to ask the program to run.

2 Conditions:
If our grade 11 students pass grade 10 science, they will be promoted to grade 11 technology. If they do not pass, they need to repeat grade 10 science (but remain in grade 11 in all other subjects).

If our grade 11 students pass grade 10 history they will be promoted to grade 11 contemporary world If they do not pass, they need to repeat grade 10 history (but remain in grade 11 in all other subjects).

In the real world we get around this by teaching both subjects simultaneously and the students "split" according to whether or not they passed. The school is very small so we only have 1 group for each level, so we have our groups organized like this:

Grade 7
Grade 8
Grade 9
Grade 10
Grade 11

Thank you in advance for all of your help!

Hello,

I think you have these two possibilities:

1) Two constraints activities same starting time. This is easier, but maybe constrains your timetable more than necessary.

or

2) Divide year grade 11 automatically (there is a button in the years dialog) by two categories: (11-Technology, 10-Science) and (11-Contemporary, 10-History). Then in the activities of year grade 10 science add also the group "grade 11 - 10 science", and in the activities of year grade 10 history add also the group "grade 11 - 10 history".
