Thank you for the bug report! Please tell me:

1) Previous FET-7.2.1 did crash? The code is the same.
2) Only on macOS? Did you try on Windows?

Also, could you please send me your file?

Also, when and how does it crash? Immediately after you begin generating? Or after a while?

Tell me if you have other details.

yush

It hasn't crash for a couple of days now. Maybe it is something else that I was doing on my computer at the time.

It crashed again.
1) I don't recall 7.2.1 crashing, but I haven't used it enough to be sure.
2) I only tested on MacOS

Attached is the 2nd crash report. I also gave to to ChatGPT, don't know how good it is to analysis crash log, I attached its respoonse anyway.

And, I was using 7.2.2. I will use 7.2.3 to try again.

Thank you, yush! I think macOS has some issues with Qt, because in the past we also received a few crash reports.

I think it is not FET-related, but I will try your file, a bit later. Looks like this time you generated single and clicked on viewing the initial order?

yush

Sorry, I forgot exactly what I did when it happened.

Liviu Lalescu

No problem, the crash report tells it.

I just checked the code. I put in a QString the initial order of the activities (before the generation starts), which will be shown to the user when he clicks on "Show initial order". There is the interface thread and the generation thread (two threads when generating single). The initial order string is not modified after the generation started.

I will check more a bit later and let you know.

I am sorry, but I don't know what happens  :-[  .

I didn't meet such crashes on my GNU/Linux in modern FET. Also, there are no reports on Windows with modern FET. As I said, there were other macOS users reporting such crashes and I suspect Qt has this problem on macOS.

If you want, I could generate your file on my computer, if you need to generate it and cannot do it on your macOS computer.

Do you still have the seed?
