I have been searching through the forum but I can't find concrete and precise information about the following issues:

1. If I split a class into two groups for one period, is there a way for both groups to appear at the same time in the final timetable?

2. Regarding assigning supervision duties to teachers: there is information about creating fictional classrooms, creating "duty" activities, using the tool (activities max simultaneous in selected time slots)... but I haven't found the exact step-by-step process to do it.

Regarding to the first quiestion. Here you have two timetables, each from a subgroup of a year. img1 and img2.

What I meant was, for example, in the first slot of the third day, I have the same subjet but they split in two groups (group 1 and group 2). My question is if I can extract a timetable where it appears in the same slot both of the subgroups.

I just asked for access to your documents from my Gmail address (note that emails sent to that address are not usually monitored, if you want to contact me by email use fet4 AT lalescu.ro).

1. If you want the activities to be at the same time, you need to add a constraint activities same starting time. If you are talking about display, you might need to enable displaying activities with same starting time from the settings, or use the groups timetables (not subgroups timetable), or - we might need to think of this and talk about it.

2. Can't you use the constraint activities max simultaneous in selected time slots? I hope the mode of operation of this constraint is clear.

1. In the FET interface this option to view both subgroups is not available. You might see them in the HTML timetables for groups, or when printing the timetables from the FET interface (again, the groups timetables).

2. In the constraint activities max simultaneous in selected time slots, you might need to select all the activities of your timetable, all the time slots, and say that the max simultaneous = n_total_teachers-1, or some other value.
