Hello,

I might have said it already, but I say it again: I want to begin a new project, useful, difficult and interesting. Maybe you have suggestions?

Bobby Wise

Hello Liviu, have you heard of the ReActOS project. Perhaps they have something for you.

You know what I would like?

A sportsday scheduler.

Something that will plan and schedule a schools sports day.

Different events track and field, different age groups, boys and girls. And a database of the school records that can be kept up-to-date and announcements can be made whenever a record is broken. Even record natoional and international records.

i hope you make "Optical mark recognition" program
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_mark_recognition

All programs are scan test papers and then save them on hard drive (large size), and then read the data.
only "gradecam" based instant reading of the data through a web camera, without scaning test papers.

There is no open-source software can do so (like GradeCam).
http://www.gradecam.com/

The benefits of the program:
- Correction of tests
- To vote in elections
- survy
- Read the forms (staff - customers).

Beneficiaries:
- Schools
- Companies
- Governments
- Election officials

I'm sorry, but I prefer GNU/Linux.

Could you give a small example (maybe a scanned hand-drawn paper)?

Isn't this very easy to make? Or I am mistaking?

I saw there are free software (open source) OMR programs on that Wikipedia page. Don't they have the facility you talk about?

Could you introduce / explain some more the facilities you would like? Maybe attach some pictures?

This seems interesting, but sure it is very difficult.

I got some suggestions of 2D or 3D cutting / packing (for example, http://www.cutmaster2d.com/ or http://www.magiclogic.com/ ). Would these be interesting?

I am also interested in getting interaction with potential users for a possible future project, because this is the way also FET was done, from interaction with many people.

Maybe speech recognition would be very interesting?

There are dozens of programs.

- I suggest that the program can work on a computer, tablet and mobile (Several copies).
- Several copies can transfer data among themselves (between systems or devises)
- The programming language that allows the issuance of a copy for Apple, Windows and Linux.
- two versions - Free Standard + Pro version is free (or none free plugins).
- support community plugins like firefox gimp ...
- Choose a program used by a lot of people.
- Successful program may not be huge or complex.

Augmanted Reality and opencv :
Beautiful technique and is characterized by the possibility of using the program on the computer or on a mobile phone, and thus be able to earn some money through the sale of a sophisticated version of the software in the Google Store, for example, or Ubuntu Store.

Thank you, Silver.

I already decided to go for a two dimensional cutting algorithm for now, which seems accessible for my knowledge (you have some panels of different materials and you need to cut some parts to optimize the panel consumption).
