Two time slot started at same time.

In our school all class started at 8:30 but pre section time duration is 30 min that is 8:30 to 9:00 like this, on the other hand senior section time 8:30 to 9:10 that is 40 min. But some teacher  of pre section will take class in senior section in their gap time. How can I schedule them ? Pls need help.

I think the possibilities shown in the above topics are:

1) Either use 10 minutes for a FET hour, so real activities have duration 3 or 4.

2) Add many constraints activities occupy max time slots from selection (one for each teacher x day x overlapping slot).

I am working about that.But I had new problem like pre section there are 4 classes in a day weekly total class 4x5=20 but one teacher taking two subjects Maths 4 and English 4 but when I generate time table I found  3 english classes 1 day but it should be  1 english class and 1 maths class in 1 day. Needs help regarding this.Thank you.

You need to add the English and Math activities split into 4, min days between activities = 1, weight = 100%.

Is it possible  min days between activities = 1, weight = 100%.
can be set for all subject together.

Either go to min days between activities -> modify multiple constraints at once, or go to Advanced -> Spread activities over the week.

But you need to have inputted correctly activities as split ones.

Hope you are find and safe. You know This year I am using FET for first time. I faced some problem like
1. Is it possible to edit locked routine keeping every thing but two or three entry will be changed.
2. How can I print Teachers statistics, Students statistics etc. Have any pdf option for printing?

Hello,

1. Lock all the activities of the current timetable, then view the timetable and unlock the activities and then re-generate.

2. You can only export advanced statistics to the hard disk as HTML and print/convert these.

PS: It would be better if for different questions you started different topics.

I think you can open the data_and_timetable.fet file from the results and change there and regenerate.

If you open the fet file from the results folder, you will notive that there are a lot of new constraints added. you need to modify the activities that should be moved and regenerate.
if it conflicts with other constraints you might just delete the other constraints, since all activities are locked.
this is working fine if you only need to modify a few activities.

if you need to modify a lot of activities i recommend to check tools FET-Read and TiTiTo; since it is a bit easier to move with that tools.
