Hi,i hope you add this timetable :

X_3.fet_buildings_timetable_days_horizontal
X_3.fet_buildings_timetable_days_vertical
X_3.fet_buildings_timetable_time_horizontal
X_3.fet_buildings_timetable_time_vertical

best regards

Volker Dirr

That's an easy task, but i need some time to do it.
So please wait a little bit, because we have final examinations at the moment and so i must correct all papers at the moment.

How can you do that, Volker? Each building must have a lot of activities at the same slot (say Monday 10-11 for instance). Isn't this timetable very large and impossible to create/view/use?

Why do you need that, Silver, because rooms timetable should be enough?

Volker Dirr

QuoteHow can you do that, Volker?
Like the "subjects" timetables. I also wrote all activities of one subjects into a table. So it will be easy to code.

QuoteIsn't this timetable very large and impossible to create/view/use?
Yes, I fear that it will be very large if you have more then 10 rooms in a building. So I fear it will be unclear if you have more then 10 rooms in a building. But it is not impossible to do that.

Maybe also others can answer this?

I would prefer not to add this timetable if file increase is too large and if it is not really important. But if it is really important for Silver and increase in size is acceptable, you can add it.

Silver

i mean the timetable lik this:

link:building1
link:building2

timetable of building1

timetable of building2

else

-----------------
or by floor

building 1

link:floor1
link:floor2
link:floor3

timetable of floor1

timetable of floor2

timetable of floor3

building 2

link:floor1
link:floor2
link:floor3

timetable of floor1

timetable of floor2

timetable of floor3

else

------

Silver

sorry i don't mean 1 timetable for all building.

Liviu Lalescu

Quotesorry i don't mean 1 timetable for all building.

Yes, that I understood. But it would increase the size of total timetables by maybe 10% or more. Isn't it useful enough for you the rooms timetable?

Silver

i want it to :
in my school there are 3 floors in the building, so i make building=floor like this:
floor1 = building 1
floor2 = bulding 2
floor3 = bulding 3

why i do it ?
i do it to use "Max buildings changes per day for all teachers = Max floors changes per day for all teachers" to Rest of the boarding and disembarkation between floors.
in any floor or building there are Manager or Director , he want a timetable for his floor or his building only.

boarding and disembarkation = walk up and walk down between the floors.
i translate it in google.

i hope you know what i mean.
best regards

A temporary solution would be to input the rooms in order floors. Then just consult the corresponding portion of rooms' timetable. You can modify by hand the order of rooms, so they appear in order you want (beginning with first floor and ending with third floor).

Maybe a future solution would be to modify the rooms' timetable, to list them sorted according to buildings (with links for each building).
